TECH Courses - TDI

Decompression Procedures
This
course is to develop your knowledge about the
theory, methods and procedures of planned stage
decompression diving. It will cover the fundamentals
of redundant scuba and deco tanks. It will also
improve your buoyancy control and you will learn
how to deploy SMB’s. The course will train you
how to plan and conduct a standard staged decompression
dive not exceeding a maximum depth of 45 meters
unless taught in conjunction with Advanced Nitrox
and/or Extended Range. To participate in this
course you must have an Open Water Diver certification
and you must have minimum of 25 open water dives.
Minimum age 18 years
Duration: 3 days
Dives: 4

Advanced Nitrox Course
This course will train you to make use of EAN
21 through 100% (oxygen) for optimal mixes to
a depth of 40 meters. You will learn to extend
your bottom time by reducing nitrogen absorption.
What does this all mean? On a thirty meter dive
you could stay up to three times longer than just
diving on air. You can combine the Decompression
Procedures or Extended Range Course with this
course. To attend this course you must have a
minimum of 25 Open Water Dives and you must have
a Nitrox Diver certification. Minimum age 15 years.

Extended Range Course
This
course will train you and give you the experience
required to competently use air for dives up to
55 meters that requires staged decompression,
using Nitrox mixtures or oxygen during accelerated
decompression stops. You will use the latest decompression
planning software. To attend this course you must
have an Advanced Nitrox Diver certification and
Decompression Procedures Diver certification,
have 100 logged open water dives, of which 25
are deeper than 30 meters. Minimum age 18 years.
